College Grad Coaching Opens New Office in August
(Westport, Connecticut, July 27, 2009) – This year’s college graduates are facing one of the worst job markets in years. According to a survey conducted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, less than 20% of recent grads who applied for a job, have landed one. That’s a chilling statistic for students and their parents who invested significant time and money in education, hoping for a bright future.
That’s the reason Ronnie Ann Ryan, MBA, CCC, has opened a new office of ColegeGradCoaching.com in Westport. “I want to help college students pump up their job search skills to succeed amidst the fierce competition.” Ms. Ryan, a marketing professional and certified coach with two decades of experience, sees job hunting as a personal marketing challenge. Whether students are looking for an internship or a job that launches their career, what matters most is how they present themselves on paper and in person to perspective employers.
